Crossing The Baltic Sea – Day 3

A quick dip in the ocean was the perfect start of the day and readied us for the next stage. The goal for the day was to reach Latvia. The non user friendly GPS and lack of a decent map was tackled by the decision to always heading southwest.

Our strategy to just heading southwest wasn’t as easy as predicited but I would say that we managed real good. Sure, some of the roads was really small and the average speed was far from impressive. If you have the time I think it’s possible to get around the whole Baltic without driving on paved roads🙂

Pärnu

After the small roads and drop of the average speed we drove the last 130 km to Pärnu on the big road. Not as funny but the road and the trafic was good, so it was efficiant travelling.

Pärnu

The short stop we made in Pärnu will not classify us to write a travel guide about the city.. But the food was good and the city center was nice, with a lot of bars and restaurants so I guess a couple of days had been easy to spend without complaints.

This is how it looked 5 minutes after we arrived… Where did everything came from?
